My state of infirmity is but a passing act on the stage of life… They always said I was destined for greatness, and I am on my way. (and by them, I mean every teacher/mentor/counselor I’ve ever had. Except for the gifted and talented “teacher” who said I was too eccentric to ever get along in life. She was just flat out wrong.)

And when it happens, I will not forget where I come from, the way I fought, and the reason why it was so absolutely vital that I make it where I’m going. I will not forget you, or the hungry eyes of children in the street, or the brutal savagery I’ve seen laid upon my fellow man.

Be ready. I am not alone. We will rise together.
